Structured Support While Maintaining Daily Life
Naveah Health Services’ Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides structured, evidence-based mental health treatment for individuals who need more support than traditional weekly therapy but can safely live and function within the community.
IOP offers a balanced level of care, delivering meaningful therapeutic support while allowing individuals to continue managing work, school, and family responsibilities.
Who Our IOP Is Designed For
Our Intensive Outpatient Program may be appropriate for individuals who are:
- Transitioning from inpatient, IHP, or partial hospitalization services
- Experiencing increased symptoms requiring structured therapeutic care
- Needing continued clinical support to maintain stability
- Managing depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, bipolar disorder, or other serious mental health conditions
- Seeking relapse prevention and skill-building support
If weekly outpatient therapy alone is not enough, IOP provides enhanced structure and accountability without requiring hospitalization.
Program Structure
IOP typically meets three to five days per week, with shorter daily sessions than IHP. Treatment plans are individualized based on clinical needs and personal recovery goals.
Services may include:
Therapeutic group sessions focused on coping skills and emotional regulation
Individual therapy
Medication management, as clinically indicated
Psychoeducation and relapse prevention planning
Care coordination with outpatient providers and community resources
Group therapy is a core component of IOP, offering peer support, skill practice, and shared learning in a structured therapeutic setting.
